Planning my wedding was one of the most exciting times of my life. I loved nearly every minute of it. People are often surprised to learn that my planning was virtually stress-free and wildly enjoyable. There were no bridezilla moments or feverish running around. It was designed that way.
As you probably know by now, we took those planning secrets and put them in our newest book, The Coach's Guide to Wedding Planning.
I'm excited to announce I'll be signing copies of the Guide at Kelli Burns DJ Entertainment Booth #115 at the Cavanaugh Bride Show on January 30th from 12-2:30 PM. I hope you'll join me.
If you haven't yet met Kelli, who was our DJ extraordinare at our grand affair, you won't want to miss this opportunity.

Spahr Happenings...
Wow! We are coming off of one of our busiest weeks of the year.
Last week we toured the Pittsburgh area visiting with Redstone Highlands in North Huntingdon, Seneca Manor in Verona, the hosts of Word FM and KDKA Today Live, and began our journey to Bethlehem PA.
In Bethlehem we visited with the residents of Country Meadows and then had a sold-out book signing at the Moravian Book Shop, the oldest book shop in the country. We met up with our family and celebrated Thanksgiving early. We stayed at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem and even got to visit JustBorn, where peeps are made! (My mom loves Peeps!) It was a wonderful trip- from the people, to the food, the shopping and the history! On our way back, we stopped to pay our respects at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
Now, we’re back to our busy lives in Pittsburgh. I’m hosting the Champions Conference call next week, on goal setting and achievement. Guests can join us for $20 live or listen to the recording at their leisure. We’re also preparing to close 2009 with a few more book talks, the release of our new book: The Coach’s Guide to Wedding Planning, and prepare for 2010. We expect it to be another great year with new milestones!

The Coach’s Guide to Wedding Planning… Due Out Soon
Tis the season… of brides. No matter what shape the economy is in, people are falling in love and getting married. They may plan for 1 week, 1 month or 1 year- or many choices in between, but their planning. And, it can be stressful (as I have observed).
As many of you know I married for the first time on May 23. I planned for my wedding for 7 months. (I waited what seemed to be a lifetime.) My planning was virtually stress free and really fun. How on earth did I do that? I’ll tell you… in the Coach’s Guide to Wedding Planning. I’m writing it now and it will be available soon. Email me (lspahr@spahrconsulting.com) if you want to be on the waiting list.
I’ll discuss everything from the dress…..

I’ll discuss everything from the dress…..

To the venue and date selection...

To the food…..

To the inclusion of your husband to-be…..

To you guest list…

And, to the special elements that you can add to make this a unique and very personal experience for everyone.

All of this information will come to you from the bride, who is also a coach. The goal is to keep your stress level down, excitement and enthusiasm up, and fill this time with wonderful memories you'll share with a smile for many years to come!
I can't begin to tell you how wonderful my wedding was, to me, my husband and our guests. I have no doubt I can help you make your event the same.
